In making this resolution Sandoval has very efficiently insulted the 49ers team, coaches, front office, staff, and owner along with the fans. He has also very quickly making a mockery of rooting for the home team. All this after an elaborate "Faithful" marketing plan the 49ers put into action last off-season.Sandoval said: "Who can possibly have anything against the Seahawks? ... (They're) as benign as an empty tin can. I don't understand why anyone would think it's a big deal." The fact that the city would be abandoning the 49ers is bad enough, but the 'Hawks are a NFC West opponent. That is a big deal, not an empty tin can, if you ask me. Clearly, Sandoval has no concept of being loyal or faithful to a team. Real supporters do not jump off the bandwagon when a team hits a rough spots, especially after 20 years of winning.Sandoval's comments go beyond football and rivalry.
